At MatchOffice our every-day goal is to deliver the best leads in the industry to our landlords.
To improve the quality of leads, we use a point-based system we call Quality Score. The more points you have, the higher your ad will rank in search results. The system also serves as a checklist for how you can improve the quality of your listings on MatchOffice.
By enhancing the quality of your listings, potential tenants can more easily determine if your property is the perfect match for them. This also increases your chances of renting out your spaces faster.
In addition to receiving more qualified leads, a good score brings more attention to your ads. The listing's "score" influences its position in our list view.
The more points you have, the higher your advert ranks in the list view..
The current Quality Score consists of 11 factors, with the following point distribution:
Total: 100 points
Below, we detail each factor and provide tips on how to earn points for them.
Note: The Quality Score is not visible to potential tenants or other landlords.
A picture is worth a thousand words. We know from tenants that photos play a big role in deciding whether a listing catches their interest. Therefore, we recommend including at least three high-quality images showcasing the premises.
It’s a good idea to show all parts of the space, including central areas and practical areas such as the kitchen/kitchenette, bathrooms, and storage rooms. Ensure that the photos are high quality to attract and inspire potential tenants. Images should be 900 x 600 pixels to be uploaded.
The property description is crucial for providing prospective tenants with an overview of what the space offers. Describe features, included amenities, and anything unique about your space. Highlighting facilities, such as a reception or lunch options, can make a big difference.
Our recommendation for an optimal description is 650-900 characters. You can also get help crafting a strong description through our partner, GoEdit.
Listing the facilities available in your property shows potential tenants what the space offers. This can be a key factor in choosing your property over another. For instance, if a tenant needs a property with a reception, noting this feature will be a plus.
An energy label provides information about the building’s energy-related expenses. While not mandatory, we recommend including an energy label so tenants can gauge potential energy costs.
MatchOffice now allows you to add a 3D virtual tour of your premises, enabling potential tenants to explore the property interactively.
This is identical to visiting the space physically. Matterport Spaces provides the technology, offering tenants a thorough experience before an in-person tour..
A floor plan is a valuable tool to help prospective tenants visualize the layout and potential of the space before visiting. Listings with a floor plan receive more views than those without, as it gives an ultimate overview.
If you have created a prospectus for your lease, make sure to include it in your listing. It provides tenants with a comprehensive overview, aiding in their decision-making process.
A video is a great way to present your space, combining visuals with text and music. Including a video on your listing gives potential tenants an idea of the layout and setup of the premises. Creating a guided tour in the video can make a strong first impression and help visualize the potential uses of the space.
To add a video, upload it to Vimeo.com and send it to us for inclusion in your listing.
A helpful tip for faster rental is to have clear pricing details on your listing. Financial considerations are crucial for tenants when choosing a lease. Displaying real and transparent pricing will help them make informed decisions.
MatchOffice has developed a partner badge to make your listing stand out. The badge indicates a strong, ongoing partnership with MatchOffice. To earn this badge, you must place it on your website.
